All Higher Education students who wish to join BIMM London will need to submit an application through UCAS using the appropriate UCAS Code which can be found on the course or Fees and Scholarship pages of this website or in a copy of the BIMM London Prospectus.

Once your application has been received we’ll either invite you in for an audition and assessment or, if you clearly meet the entry criteria for the course you’ve selected, we’ll offer you a place.

When applying for a BIMM London course through UCAS you’ll need to enter our Institution Code – B39, and the London Campus Code – D.

Performance-Based Courses: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals and Songwriting
If you’re applying to BIMM for one of our performance-based courses and are a UK-based student, we’ll expect you to attend BIMM for an audition and assessment. If you wish to visit us and be assessed before you submit your UCAS application, this can be arranged by either contacting our Admissions Team directly on 0208 749 3131, emailing admissions@bimm.co.uk or filling in the ‘Apply Now’ form.

Music Business Courses
For courses which don’t involve a practical performance element we’ll generally be able to make you an offer based on your UCAS application. We’ll take into consideration your existing or expected qualifications and the strength of your personal statement and reference.

Music Production Courses
For all Music Production courses you should also apply through UCAS. You’ll be required to submit a digital portfolio, and information on how to upload this is available in the Music Production Courses section of our website.

Personal Statement
A personal statement must be included with your UCAS application. There’s a video guide to writing a personal statement on the UCAS website. Using a maximum of 4,000 characters, please write your statement as a Word document so that you can check your spelling and grammar, and then simply copy and paste it into the Personal Statement section on your UCAS application. Please use paragraphs in your statement as this makes it clearer to read and we advise that you keep a copy it for future reference.
