Scholarships and Bursaries

BIMM is dedicated to helping musicians and songwriters develop their skills, talents and self confidence, while gaining a nationally recognised Further or Higher Education qualification. Every academic year, we’re able to offer a limited number of scholarships and bursaries to talented and dedicated applicants and students who are in financial hardship.


TONY IOMMI BIMM BIRMINGHAM SCHOLARSHIP

We’re pleased to be able to offer our students the opportunity to apply for the Tony Iommi BIMM Birmingham Scholarship, which will be awarded to one lucky student whose tuition will be fully funded for the full three year degree course.  Open to new applicants who apply to BIMM Birmingham through UCAS before 30th June 2017, it covers every discipline and is worth a total of £20,250 spread over a three-year period.

The criteria in order to be considered are as follows. You must:

  • Be a UK or EU national
  • Have good studentship/a good academic reference.
  • Have applied for a place on a degree course (via UCAS) at BIMM Birmingham by 30th June 2017

TONY IOMMI BIMM BIRMINGHAM BURSARY

We’re pleased to be able to offer our students the opportunity to apply for a Tony Iommi BIMM Birmingham Bursary. It’s specifically for gifted and committed applicants who are struggling financially, and in order to be eligible, your household income must be below £25,000 per annum.

The Tony Iommi BIMM Birmingham Bursary will be for £1,500 for one year only and is awarded to three students at BIMM Birmingham. If your application is successful, you’ll receive the money in three installments at the beginning of each term.

The criteria in order to be considered are as follows. You must:

  • Be a UK or EU national
  • Be in financial hardship
  • Have good studentship (current students only)
