Further Education Courses
You can apply to BIMM for a Further Education course by calling our Admissions Team directly on 0208 749 3131 to request an assessment or by entering your details in the ‘Apply Now’ website form. Once we’ve received your enquiry, we’ll invite you to attend BIMM for an audition and assessment. After your audition you’ll be de-briefed by a member of the Admissions Team and this is an opportunity for you to ask any questions regarding the course you’re applying for. We’ll then either make you an offer of a place or suggest how you can develop your skills further to meet the required standard. Please try not to leave your application to the last minute, as courses do fill up very quickly and we’d hate for you to be disappointed.
Performance-Based Courses: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals and Songwriting
If you’re applying to BIMM for one of our performance-based courses and are a UK- based student, we’ll expect you to attend BIMM for an audition and assessment. All BIMM assessments for Performance and Songwriting courses are free of charge and include an hour-long introductory presentation which provides valuable information about our courses, the music industry and BIMM’s ethos, aims and philosophy. During your individual assessment we’ll discuss your personal aspirations and the ways in which we can help you to achieve your goals.
For courses which don’t involve a practical performance element, an offer will be made based upon your qualifications, experience and a successful interview. We recommend that you attend one of our Open Days throughout the year so that you’re fully informed about BIMM before you submit your application.
Our Admissions Team is available to help with any queries you may have about applying to BIMM. Please don’t hesitate to contact us by calling 0208 749 3131, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or filling in the ‘Apply Now’ website form.
BIMM will use University of Sussex guidelines to determine the appropriate level of qualifications required by applicants in relation to UK A-Level standards and requirements. Students will need to be sufficiently fluent in the English language to participate.Apply TodayCourse SpecificationsAdmissions Policy Appeals Process
