Phoenix Club

Phoenix Club celebrated their hugely promising foray into the music business by recording their ‘Phoenix Club’ EP at one of the world’s great music studios.

Their sessions at Peter Gabriel’s renowned Real World Studios in the UK, were recorded with Marco Migliari, who’s worked with Robert Plant, Sigur Ros, and Massive Attack. Phoenix Club were later invited to return to the studios to perform a VIP-only gig for the UK launch of the Italian Mezzabarba Amps brand.

The band, who are known individually as Danny McMahon, Andrea Succi, James Kelly and Dan Canvin, all studied at BIMM Bristol. They have gathered momentum since leaving BIMM, and highlights so far for the band have included playing for the Irish team at the London 2012 Olympics, touring the Netherlands and performing showcases for RCA Records, Sony Music and Island Records.

Since graduating, Phoenix Club have toured relentlessly around the UK, and their debut music video for the song “Don’t Lose Your Ghost” is pushing the 100,000 view mark. With the band’s enviable work ethic, they are bound to continue picking up more fans all over the UK, and BIMM look forward to following them for a long time to come.
