Rory Indiana

Rory Indiana are four-piece alternative rock band formed in 2014 at BIMM Brighton by Rory Kaye, Dan Ely, Ben Clement and Harry Ward.

Seamlessly combining elements of rock, soul and pop, the band have gone from strength to strength honing their unmistakable sound. Their exciting live show and loud, life-affirming songs captured the attention of a friend of legendary producer Nick Tauber (Thin Lizzy, Def Leppard, UFO, Marillion) and led to the quartet recording their debut EP ‘Empiricism’ with him.

And Nick’s not their only well-known fan – singer-songwriter and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson had this to say about frontman Rory: “I've been following the progress of this gifted young Brighton-based artist with interest, and as his first official release this EP marks an important milestone towards achieving his considerable promise.” Tom went on to play the band on his BBC Introducing Mixtape show on BBC 6 Music, and they’ve been receiving well-deserved airplay from Brighton’s Juice FM too.

Rory Indiana have been wowing live audiences around the country too, with celebrated performances at the Cotswolds’ 2000Trees festival, Bristol’s ArcTanGent festival and gigs at Brighton’s Amex Stadium, as well as support slots for artists including Emp!re, Press to Meco and Wayward Daughter.
