  • Once you’ve completed an audition and received a recommendation for the course, you will be part of Priority Clearing
  • Recommendations will be subject to entry criteria being met and a UCAS application being received
  • With Priority Clearing, you will receive a Priority text message on the morning of Clearing (13th August 2020) reminding you to contact BIMM on an exclusive number to confirm your place after 3pm
  • Please note: the exclusive number will only be disclosed to you on results day

What is Clearing?

Clearing is how universities and colleges fill any places they still have on their courses.

From 6th July, you can apply for a course using Clearing if you’re not already holding an offer from a university or college, and the course still has places.

You can use Clearing if:

  • You’re applying after 30th June
  • You didn’t receive any offers
  • You didn’t meet the conditions of your offers
  • You’ve declined your firm place using the ‘decline my place’ button in Track

How it works

Clearing is available until 20th September (6pm). If you already have your exam results, and you did not submit a UCAS application in the main scheme, you can use Clearing now.

If you have had conditional offers, but maybe didn’t achieve the grades you needed for your initial UCAS choices, you can use Clearing from 8am on results day (Thursday 13th August) when universities and colleges place a list of their vacancies on the UCAS website. You will be able to add a choice from 3pm on this day.

Only unconditional offers can be made through Clearing. For BIMM Institute, this means we have to confirm that you’ve met any necessary academic requirements and have been successful in an audition/interview before we can accept you on a course.

BIMM courses available through Clearing

We’ve published a full list of BIMM Institute courses which still have vacancies, which you can browse via the UCAS search tool.
