Providing the world with funk-infused future jazz for over 20 years, Australian producer / keyboard player Simon Grey’s journey into polyphonic love and harmonic exploration continues.
Mixing thick analogue synth tones and syncopated grooves, Simon’s musical handwriting can be heard from the first moment and continues to win loyal support from the international Jazz /RnB community. As a drummer-turned-jazz pianist, Simon has performed around the world featuring his phase2corporation backing unit, including the prestigious Java Jazz festival and UNIT in Tokyo. MD / producer and session player duties have included acts such as Incognito, Deodato, Tony Momrelle and Reel People. As a remix artist, Simon has also produced Bootsy Collins, Elton John to Jamiroquai as well as live keyboard based music technology features for Sound on Sound, Nektar keyboards and Propellerhead Software.
