Your average week will see you undertaking modules like Computer Music Production, Studio Engineering, Music & Sound For Moving Image, Audio Post-Production, Sound & Music for Games and your own open-ended Production Project, which allows you to focus on your key passion and launch it as a business venture in the real world.

After graduating from BIMM London in 2017, Jules went on to gain incredibly valuable experience as a freelance assistant at Pierce Entertainment, who have mixed for the likes of Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, JP Cooper, Gorillaz and Paloma Faith among many others. During his time at the studio, Jules was involved in various mix sessions, including Sam Smith’s sophomore LP ‘The Thrill Of It All’ and the subsequent mix preparation for the live album ‘Sam Smith at the BBC’. In the final year of their degrees at BIMM Bristol, graduates Danny McMahon and Andrea Succi used their final major project module to build and market their own production company from scratch. They sett up Puzzlemaker Studios with the primary goal of helping both new and established artists to write, develop, record and mix their material for commercial release. Their hard work led to their nomination and subsequent win of BIMM’s Alumni Award, which is an annual cash prize to help graduates continue the development of their business ventures.
Since graduating from BIMM London, Peter gets an incredible amount of job satisfaction working for Focusrite and Novation. His official title is Sound Creator & Marketer‘, which means not only does he specialise in the programming and creation of music-making apps such as Launchpad, Groovebox and Blocs Wave, but he’s also responsible for the digital marketing of the products themselves. Diolmhain Ingram Roche graduated from BIMM Dublin in 2017 and has since been busy making a name for himself under the name of ‘Wastefellow’. Purveying an eclectic mix of glitchy electronica in the same vein as Flying Lotus, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and James Blake, Diolmhain has been dubbed ‘one to watch’ by Irish tastemakers such as Breaking Tunes, Nialler9, District Magazine and State.ie as well as appearing on line-ups alongside Mura Masa, Lapalux,
Jack studied at BIMM Brighton and focussed his efforts on live sound production. Now, he works as a FOH and monitor engineer at one of Brighton’s most renowned live music venues, Concorde 2. He’s also very active on the international touring circuit, mixing live sound at various festivals (Download, Wireless, Reading & Leeds) and venues across the world, including the SSE Wembley Arena. Most recently, Jack has worked with the likes of Black Peaks, Death From Above, Architects, Tom Misch and Mallory Knox. Read more about Jack’s story here.
