Ian Whitehead

Live Sound Lecturer

Ian is a highly experienced live sound engineer who has worked with James Blunt, Imelda May, Public Service Broadcasting, Caribou, Napalm Death, Graham Coxon in a range of venues from small clubs to the likes of Shepherds Bush Empire, The Scala (Kings Cross) and festivals such as Latitude as well as tour engineering for the bands such as Dirty Projectors and The Irrepressibles.

Ian has a BSc in Electronic Music Technology and an MSc in Sound and Music for Interactive Games. He has performed across the UK and Europe with his previous post rock band Souvaris, who had several albums released on the indie label Gringo Records available in mainstream stores as well as receiving international radio airplay including BBC Radio 1.
