Morgan Tedd

Module Leader - Multimedia Techniques

Morgan started his life as a musician, screaming in to microphones and causing chaos on stages across the UK and European circuit. Performing in multiple bands while studying, he soon began to broaden his knowledge of music. While exploring the undergound music scene, he also managed to obtain a first and national diploma in Music, and then a degree in music technology from Keele university.

Morgans most recent band ‘The Catharsis’ rose to critical acclaim in the underground hardcore and metal scene, playing a handful of the top festivals across Europe and the UK, as well as garnering rave reviews for their debut album ‘Romance’. From Maida Vale studios to Dour Festival, the band were known for their commitment to authenticity, as well as chaotic, and explosive live shows. Morgans time in the band came to an end in 2016, making way for him to embark on a new creative path.

Although his formal education is based solidly in music, Morgan is a self taught Photographer, Videographer, director and artist. An interest which sparked from his time teaching for one of the worlds largest companies, Apple. Having now spent three years working in the creative industry as a full time content creator, he has a wide and eclectic clientel, including artists such as Jaws, Jaykae and The Twang. He is also the in-house content creator at midlands based creative agency, RBH (Reece Bradley Hepburn) where he works alongside some of the areas top creative minds, creating and delivering work for larger corporate clients.

Morgan continues to tour, but now with a camera in hand instead of a microphone, traveling with some of the UKs most exciting musical exports.
