Anna Nilsson
Agent and Music Touring Assistant
After completing her BA (Hons) Degree in Event Management in 2018, Anna undertook a 6-week internship at Creative Artist Agency (CAA), one of the biggest live agents in the world. On completion, Anna secured a full-time position with the company.
Anna’s previous work experience secured during her time at BIMM Brighton includes a ‘Technician’ at Brighton Dome and ‘Events Co-ordinator’ at Brighton & Hove Pride Festival. The latter was her first real events-based office job and taught Anna much about the intricacies of running large-scale events, plus how to work in an office environment.
During her time at BIMM Brighton, Anna was also the Co-ordinator for End of Term Gigs, advancing shows for the college’s songwriting showcases and end of term shows, as well as being on-hand during show days from load-in to load-out.
Reflecting on her time at BIMM, Anna said:
“My time at BIMM helped so much with developing my skills and network within the live music industry. It shaped me as a person and as a professional, as well as opening door for me that I don’t believe I would have been able to open without the help of the industry professionals at BIMM.”
