Ela Tolstova

Ela Tolstova is a graduate of the MA Popular Music Practice programme at BIMM University Berlin and the founder of the band Tolstoys. Since forming the band in 2016, they have won the Slovak Radio_Head Award for Best Debut Album, played more than 150 shows across Europe, including Eurosonic, and supported artists such as Tom Odell, Lola Marsh and Easy Life.
Ela was featured in the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 list, and following the release of Tolstoy’s second album, Mirror Me, she appeared on a billboard in Times Square, New York. Based in Berlin, she recently completed the band’s third album, No Limit To Love, working with producer Drew Deal and Grammy-nominated engineer Zino Mikorey.
