BIMM Work Experience programme
Getting you ready for the world of work
Students at BIMM have the option to choose a placement module called Working in the Creative Industries as part of their course. Whatever your chosen path, our Careers Team, as well as dedicated lecturers and course leaders, will help you to explore, research and secure a placement or develop your own entrepreneurial project.
We are connected to over 400 employers. Over the last three years, our students have secured work experience placements with the likes of Sony Music, Universal, Warner Music, CAA, DIY Magazine, The Great Escape Festival, LD Publicity, Teenage Cancer Trust, AIM, Big Life Management, The Quietus, Believe Digital, United Talent Agency, Cooking Vinyl, Music Venues Trust, International Live Music Conference, Good Soldier Songs, Cherry Red, Chuff Media and East Side Music Days
Reeperbahn Festival Hamburg
Taking place over four days in September, Reeperbahn Festival welcomes acts from all over the world to come together and play the Reeperbahn strip. It’s one of the world’s most important music industry meeting places and, every year, BIMM students participate – either by volunteering behind the scenes at the festival or by having their own showcase to show the industry what they’re made of.
