Ciaran O’Shea

Ciarán’s career began as a founding member and main songwriter of rock group Cyclefly (Universal/Island), which rose to international acclaim in the late nineties. Ciarán’s impressive skill set is the result of a wealth of experience touring with Linkin Park ,Tool and Iggy Pop, and he has performed at some of the biggest festivals around the world.
Ciarán has worked in a number of prestigious studios internationally such as Sound City (L.A.), Sunset Sound (L.A.), and Park Gates Studios, (England) with industry big hitters such as Sylvia Massy (Tool, Prince), Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head), and Sean Beavan (N.I.N., No Doubt).
As a music producer, Ciaran has worked in a variety of styles from electronica to pop and rock with artists such as Bush, Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Sacha Puttnam, Zoax and Chris Coco.
Ciaran has been a tutor at BIMM since 2018.
