Peter Becker

Peter Becker is an Anglo-German actor with a diverse background in journalism, film production, and adult education. Before and during his training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, he worked as a Casting Director and Junior Producer for various film production companies.

His on-camera work includes roles in German-language and international productions such as One Trillion Dollars (Paramount+), Babylon Berlin (Sky/ARD), Bad Banks (ZDF), Tatort (ARD), Polizeiruf 110 (ARD), 13 Minutes, and Unknown. Since 2021, he has been a main cast member of the ZDF series WIR.

He has performed at numerous prestigious theatres, including the National Theatre in London, Volkstheater in Vienna, Deutsches Theater and Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, Thalia Theater in Hamburg, and Schauspiel Köln.

As a voiceover artist, Peter collaborates regularly with public broadcasters such as the BBC, ARTE, and Deutschlandradio, as well as international companies like Porsche, Miele, Bose, Audi, Hyundai, and many others.

In addition to his acting career, he supports clients from business, media, and culture as a dramaturgical consultant, communication trainer, and presentation coach. From 2016 to 2022, he served as co-managing director of a company focused on utilising acting techniques in business communication training. In 2023, he further honed his expertise by earning a certification as a Communication and Behavioural Trainer from artop - Institute at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Since 2024, Peter has been a certified Mental Health First Aider. Currently, he works as a Lead Lecturer in Acting at BIMM University Berlin.
