Canadian producer and instructor Noah has been making music in various forms for the past two decades. Initially working with hardware samplers, sequencers and synthesizers, he began performing live sets of techno, house and electro in the mid-90s, and before long started DJing with vinyl. Upon discovering Ableton Live 3 in 2003, Noah quickly adopted it for his live performances, and with version four, Ableton Live became the centrepiece of his studio as well.
Noah has since toured North America and Europe with his unique hybrid of techno and house, issuing numerous releases on labels around the globe, and earning two Canadian JUNO Award nominations in the process. He has taught a wide variety of techniques for stage and studio with Ableton Live over the past five years, at institutions such as the Rich Media Institute, macProVideo, FEED and Witz Education. Noah’s Live tutorial articles for Ask.Audio Magazine and videos for AskVideo are consistently among their most popular.
