Patrick is the creator of ‘Washed Out’ – a two day, multi-venue underground punk, indie, emo and hardcore music festival in the centre of Brighton.
Event Management graduate Patrick McNaught has organised a wide range of events from live gigs and club nights to art fairs and flea marketing. His main focus since graduating has been the creation and ongoing implementation of ‘Washed Out’.

Patrick’s work on the festival led to his being awarded the BIMM Brighton Enterprise & Business award in 2018.
Washed Out Festival takes place in the centre of Brighton in a selection of the city’s best underground venues and unique, quirky bars. It is a festival with its roots firmly in the Brighton DIY community and curated by a team of passionate promoters who champion DIY artists and diversity. Art and punk culture are at the heart of everything they do, in order to bring a unique experience in the UK’s most liberal seaside resort.
