Applying to BIMM University Berlin: your step-by-step guide

Step 1: Submit your application

Step 2: We’ll review your application

Once you’ve submitted, our team will review your application so we can plan the next steps of your journey. You’ll receive more information on what you need to do next (including submitting any documents and completing an interview) in the form of a conditional offer via email.

Step 3: Book your interview

Our Admissions Team will reach out to you to arrange an interview for your chosen course. You’ll also receive information on what materials you should prepare and submit in advance.

Step 4: Complete your interview

Your interviewer will review the material you’ve submitted and use it to guide the conversation with you. This is your time to show us what you know and can do, as well as receive feedback on taking your skills further.

Step 5: Accept your place

You’ve submitted everything we need, smashed your interview and decided that BIMM University Berlin is the place for you. To seal the deal, pay your deposit and you’ll be with us in no time.

Step 6: Get ready to start building your creative career

Accepting late applications: Applications for 2025 entry are open

There is still availability on some programmes for 2025 entry, and we recommend you apply as soon as possible.

The application process includes:

Meeting academic and English language entry requirements
Completing an entrance interview for your chosen course

The application form takes around 15-minutes to complete, we encourage you to apply today to provide time to meet BIMM University’s entrance requirements.

Once you receive an offer, you’ll be invited to book a personalised one-to-one meeting with a Course Leader. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, discuss your circumstances, and explore your study plans and career goals. We also advise all applicants to review our Accommodation page for helpful guidance on relocating to Berlin.

Applying from outside Germany?

You’re still welcome to apply, though time is limited to arrange your move to Germany. If you require a visa, please contact us—visa processing can take up to 90 days, and early action helps prevent delays. EU and International applicants should also consult our accommodation resources for relocation guidance.
