David O’Shea
Lecturer: Songwriting, Performance
David is an experienced songwriter and performer holding a BA in Commercial Modern Music and Songwriting from BIMM Dublin (2016).
He has collaborated with numerous artists and toured extensively across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, playing major festivals and renowned venues. He has worked with acclaimed producers such as Rob Kirwan (known for his work with Hozier) with former indie rock band Orchid Collective. His music has gained recognition and support from many radio stations like BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6. In addition, his music has been featured in campaigns for brands such as Vodafone Ireland and Rockshore Beer, and on television networks like Channel 4 and RTE.
With over four years of experience in education, he is deeply committed to arts education and is dedicated to nurturing the talents of youths and young adults.
Currently, he is working on a collaborative project and is set to release a new record early next year.
