BIMM Berlin launches Screen Time film series at Babylon
BIMM Berlin has teamed up with the legendary Babylon cinema for Screen Time, a new 9-week film series curated by MetFilm School graduate and Babylon curator, Santiago Sauer.
The series kicks off with a screening of the cult classic Run Lola Run, hosted by MetFilm School lecturer Stephanie von Beauvais, an award-winning filmmaker and music video director whose work has been showcased at film festivals around the world.
Screen Time is designed to bring together students from across all four faculties at BIMM University – Film, Music, Acting, and Games – to explore cinema as a source of creative inspiration and collaboration. Each week, a different film will provide a jumping-off point for discussion, reflection, and connection among students and staff.
“It’s more than just a screening – it’s a space to share ideas, gain new perspectives on your craft, and build connections that go beyond the classroom,” says curator Santiago Sauer.
Whether you’re a filmmaker, producer, composer, or game designer, Screen Time is your chance to see great films, meet new people, and feel inspired.
