In addition to the wealth of academic and creative opportunities offered at BIMM University Berlin, we are excited to provide short courses perfectly tailored to independent creatives looking to expand their network, top-up their skills and knowledge, and make use of BIMM Berlin’s expert staff and facilities.
Currently, you can choose from a huge variety of short courses covering Film and Acting, as well as Music and Production. Each course is offered in both 3-day part-time and 6-week full-time options:

Recently, we hosted one of our 3-day songwriting courses led by award-winning Berlin singer/Songwriter Donata Kramarz, known professionally as Donata (above).
Throughout the engaging course, students were guided through key songwriting concepts such as melody and harmony writing, exploring song structure, and crucial skills in writing meaning lyrics.
Running alongside this was our short course in Touring and Live Performance (above). Also spanning three days, this class helped guide early-career musicians and artist managers through essential parts of live musicianship like touring, visas, managing expenses, and promotional management.
