BIMM Returns to Reeperbahn Festival

Student Experience

BIMM Berlin and BIMM Hamburg are pleased to announce their involvement with Reeperbahn Festival 2019, which will see BIMM acts perform alongside global artists such as The Subways, Young The Giant, Poppy and Ásgeir.

The festival takes place on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg’s famous St. Pauli entertainment district from Sept 18-21, and will see a wealth of music talent from across the world appearing on various stages throughout the weekend.

BIMM students, alumni and tutors will be representing our Berlin and Hamburg campuses on our showcase stage. Line-up details are as follows:

20.09.2019 | Spielbude Stage

• The Flavians – 2:30 – 3:00pm
• Ed Prosek – 3:30 – 4:00pm
• MIN_t 4:30 – 5:00pm
• Evvol 5:30 – 6:00pm

Most recently, the indie folk pop troupe of BIMM undergraduates performed at Glastonbury, impressing festival goers at one of the biggest and most renowned live music events in the UK.

BIMM Brighton Songwriting graduate Ed Prosek’s take on orchestral folk music blends both technical prowess and savvy pop sensibilities.

This will be MIN t’s third performance at Reeperbahn Festival. The BIMM Berlin alumna’s futuristic soundscapes are a mixture of ambient electronica, glitchy samples, progressive hip hop beats and impassioned vocals. As a solo artist, MIN t makes a huge impression onstage. Miss this live show at your peril!

Featuring BIMM Berlin’s head of Music Production Jane Arnison, this electronic duo mix a perfect balance of live instrumentation with futurist electronica, synths and pop vocals.
