Alec Storey
Lecturer: Music Production
Alec teaches Music Production at BIMM University Berlin. Alec made his debut release in 2006 under the name Al Tourettes, drawing musical influences from rave culture and free party soundsystems, as well as artists such as Portishead, Herbie Hancock and the Metalheadz label.
As Al Tourettes, he was commissioned by Darren Aronofsky to reinterpret the work of Tchaikovsky for the score of the Oscar-winning Hollywood movie ‘Black Swan’ starring Natalie Portman. He now produces his unique brand of funk-inspired electronic music as Second Storey and is signed to the Houndstooth label.
