Luisa Lerma
Head of School, Music Faculty
Luisa has been part of BIMM Berlin for over four years, first leading Student Services and now serving as Head of School for the Music Faculty. She brings more than 16 years’ experience in higher education, with a strong commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and the development of human talent.
She holds two master’s degrees in Human Talent Management and Economics & Financial Management, and is completing a PhD in Higher Education: Research, Evaluation and Enhancement. Alongside her leadership work, Luisa has lectured in Business Administration, Finance, Economics and Human Talent Management, combining academic insight with practical experience in shaping successful programmes.
Before joining BIMM, she worked as an Academic Director, leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing a broad range of educational initiatives. Her track record reflects a deep commitment to quality, collaboration, and student success.
A firm believer in the power of music as a universal language, Luisa champions its ability to support wellbeing, spark creativity and bring communities together. She is dedicated to ensuring every BIMM Berlin student enjoys an inspiring, meaningful and transformative learning experience—one that supports academic growth, personal development and future potential.
