Masters Virtual Open Evening – MA Popular Music Practice at BIMM Institute Berlin

You’re invited to our Masters Virtual Open Evening, taking place at 18:30 CET (German time) on Thursday 27th January.

This online event is designed to take you through BIMM Institute Berlin’s MA Popular Music Practice course structure, including diving deep into each module and exploring the ways that these enhance your practice.

We will also look at the full time (1-year) and part-time (2-year) study options, how we create a balance of learning so you can maximise your engagement with the industry during your studies, and the separate pathways available on the programme which include Performance, Composition, Production and Entrepreneurship.

This event will be hosted by BIMM Institute Berlin’s Postgraduate Leadership Team and is intended to give you a clear overview of how you can enhance your creative and professional practice to develop a sustainable career in the creative industries through postgraduate study.

The content will include:

  • Introduction to postgraduate study at BIMM Institute Berlin
  • Deep dive into the course modules on the MA Popular Music Practice programme
  • The academic and collaborative environment at BIMM Institute Berlin, including opportunities to engage with the industry throughout your studies
  • Teaching hours and your flexibility to work and develop your practice outside your studies
  • Explore how to craft your research around your practice and career aspirations
  • Entry requirements, application and interview process for MA Popular Music Practice

The Virtual Open Evening will be completely tailored to your needs and you can engage in a Q&A session with our Admissions Team. You can ask about anything from student accommodation, fees, the application process or the logistics of applying for a study visa.

This event will be hosted on Zoom, held in English language, starts at 18:30 CET (German time) and will last approximately 1hr 30mins inclusive of Q&A.
