For the majority of students, starting life at BIMM will be the biggest and most exciting challenge they’ve ever faced. It’s understandable, then, that as a parent or guardian, you’ll have a number of questions you’d like to ask in order to help your son or daughter make an informed decision about what or where to study.
This page is specially designed to provide you with answers to some of those more common questions. In particular, you’ll find information about fees and finance, accommodation, the quality of education our students receive, how BIMM prepares our students for a successful career in music, and any support that’s available.
There are many reasons why students choose to study at BIMM. Here are our top five:
Employability – Everything we do at BIMM is focused on helping our students obtain a successful and sustainable long-term career in the music and creative industries.
Academic quality – BIMM is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic and vocational excellence in modern music education. All of our courses undergo a rigorous approval process, overseen by our Academic Board. This approval process includes advice from external academic and creative industries experts to ensure that they are aligned with the UK Quality Assurance Agency’s Framework for Higher Education Qualifications and the relevant Subject Benchmark Statements.
Expert tuition – Each one of our lecturers is still active and working in the music business, meaning they bring with them current industry experience and knowledge which they’re pleased to pass directly onto our students.
Great locations – BIMM has eight colleges in cities where music matters most. We’re also the only music college of its kind to offer our students incredible study exchange opportunities.
Supporting our students – Our Student Services team is committed to making your son or daughter’s transition to their new place of study as smooth as possible.
If you have further questions about student life at BIMM which aren’t covered on this page, then please don’t hesitate to call a member of our Admissions Team on 0844 2 646 666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org – They’ll be more than happy to help!
