BIMM University Berlin launches new Scholarship for 2021/22
Here at BIMM University Berlin, we’re excited to announce our new Scholarship for the 2021/22 academic year. This new offering will support one student in starting their music industry career and studies at BIMM University Berlin.
We’re wholly dedicated to supporting our students – whether that’s creatively, academically or through starting their studies. That’s why we’ve set up amazing scholarships in the past, and why we’ve created a new scholarship for this academic year. We’re here to help you open those doors to the music industry, no matter what.

Music Pool Berlin Scholarship 2021/22
At BIMM University Berlin, we have set up an amazing scholarship with our partner Music Pool Berlin, dedicated to supporting one lucky EU or UK student.
The scholarship winner will receive a 50% discount off their total fees during their three-year undergraduate degree course, starting from September 2021. It doesn’t matter which course you have chosen – this scholarship is available for all study areas.
Music Pool Berlin and BIMM University Berlin have been neighbours since moving into the House of Music. As a scholarship winner, you will have access to many of Music Pool Berlin’s opportunities. Music Pool Berlin is a central contact point for all musicians and music professionals in Berlin. It provides a broad range of consultations, advanced training, and networking possibilities for aspiring musicians and music professionals.
You will have access to Music Pool Berlin’s wide range of workshops and networking opportunities. Each semester, you’ll also have a one 1-2-1 consultation session with one of Music Pool Berlin’s expert staff members. You will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look by being involved in networking events, artist meet-ups and B2B workshops.
Are you eligible to apply?
You’re eligible to apply for our scholarship if you have applied to BIMM University Berlin for September 2021 and are entitled to the EU fees of €7,950 – providing you meet our application criteria. The scholarship is open to all applicants from all study areas at BIMM University Berlin, including Music Business, Music Production, Songwriting and Music Performance (Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Drums).
Don’t worry if you’ve not yet applied to study with us in September 2021. There’s still time. However, please be advised that your scholarship application will not be considered if you haven’t applied and received an offer of study from us by the deadline.
We highly recommend submitting your completed application to study at BIMM University Berlin as soon as possible. This gives both you as an applicant and our Admissions Team the chance to get you through our application process as quickly as we can. The application process includes:
- Successful completion of an audition/interview for your chosen discipline
- Receiving an offer of study from our Admissions Team detailing any further academic or English language requirements

Application Process
The deadline to submit your application is 23:59 CEST on 26th July 2021. Please find all details including the scholarship application form, application process, and Terms and Conditions here.
What happens next?
We will record your scholarship application and review all submissions after the deadline of 26th July 2021. A panel of BIMM University Berlin academic staff and our network of industry partners will decide the shortlist. All successful applicants will be notified in writing on 2nd August 2021.
